I snapped this picture the other day when Jess and I were at California Adventure. She had no idea I was taking the picture. I love how happy she looks eating her corn dog.

I captured a moment of pure happiness and that makes me happy.

If you look at my picture for today, and think about it, there’s a good chance you’ll figure out exactly what this will become. I mean besides 3 plates and a little tea set. Stay tuned because it will be making its transformation over the next 24 to 48 hours.

The first official trailer for Eclipse was released today.

While I’m bummed they chose to focus so much on the love triangle for the first trailer, I get why they did that. However, I’m hoping for more of the action from the next trailer. Eclipse is my favorite book in the saga.

See? It really *is* the little things that make me happy.

One of the small joys in life is a good pair of tweezers. No, I’m serious. When you need to get at something using tweezers, there’s nothing more frustrating than a pair that the tips don’t actually meet or are too big.

After an incident involving a bad splinter, Jessalyn’s foot, a mediocre pair of tweezers, and ended in going to urgent care to have the splinter dug out, I decided it was high time to invest in a good pair of tweezers. I spent more money (but certainly not as much as I could have) on this pair than they should be. But after using them for a while, I think they were worth every penny.

Jess and Daddy decided to make cupcakes. Too cute.
