When I see this I know I’m in for a good time.

I got new shoes! I haven’t purchased new shoes for myself in over a year or so. I think they’re the most comfortable sneaks I’ve every had.

Ah yes, Tony’s Pizza.

This place was a staple in the dilapidated Whitwood mall before it finally closed down. I think the reason we all liked it so much was it had cheap pizza slices and lunch combos.

Well the Whitwood was  rebuilt and look who’s back. They just reopened their doors this week! I had a slice of pizza there today for lunch and it was better than I remembered it.

Today features one of the best modern inventions that I simply can’t live without.

Diapers! Thank God for these, because I tried cloth diapers way back in 1994, and let me tell you, they’re a lot of work.

Today is about technology. How often do we take being able to chat live, send an email, find out the latest news and the current weather, all with a few strokes of the keys and clicks of the mouse.  Oh sure, when it’s down we know it! We’re upset but that’s because we’ve come to expect it to work.

Well for my “Thing” today, I feature a picture of a chat window open on the OC Podcaster’s site. They’ve got a live feed of the meeting running with ustream and that means there’s a chat box. I took a moment just to let Jason know I was there and say hi and I love him.

So yes, even though it’s not technically a “little thing” or a “simple pleasure,” all too often I take it for granted that my husband is often a few clicks away.
